Wish You Were There
In this assignment we had to Photoshop our faces into a photo that we wanted to be in. I chose to use a friend's face and put him as a Rockette. I used tools is Photoshop to make this realistic. I used the lasso tool to crop his face out of the original picture. I then dragged the picture onto the picture of the Rockettes. Lastly I used free transform to size the face to fit the body. In this project, I learned how to use more tools on Photoshop.
For this Project, we were asked to choose a song and make an album cover that represents that song. With pictures from online, we needed to make at least 3 Photoshop changes. For my album cover, I chose "Walk Like A Man" by:Frankie Vallie. For the cover, I found a silhouette picture of 5 men to represent Frankie Vallie and the four seasons. I then used 3 brush tools that looked like lightening to make it more exciting. On the back I put the lyrics with my logo.
For this project we were each given a song and instructed to make an album cover based on what the song meaning was. We needed to use 10 pictures on the front cover as a collage, and use the back cover for the lyrics. I was assigned by Mr.Adams the song "The Piano Has Been Drinking" by Tom Waits. This song made me feel like I was in a jazz club so I used pictures related to a jazz club and music. This song was about a man playing the piano as he is drinking. On the front cover, in order to get the look I wanted, I took a picture of an old piano and put the opacity down to see through it.
T-Shirt Design
For this project we had to make a t-shirt design from our original album cover. I used a picture of the original Jersey Boys and put it in black and white. I then added lightening to resemble the photo album. To do that I used a brush tool.
